Rejuvenate in nature's healing waters

This winter, escape to the serene hot springs of Jackson Hole, where relaxation meets adventure. After a few days on the slopes, there's no better way to unwind than to soak in nature’s hot tubs. Jackson Hole is home to two stunning hot springs, each offering a unique experience.

Astoria Hot Springs Jackson Hole

Astoria Hot Springs

Located just 30 minutes south of town, Astoria Hot Springs features five different pools set within the beautiful Astoria Park. It’s recommended to book online in advance, as tickets can sell out quickly.

Upon arrival, you can store your belongings in the provided cubbies. The main attraction is the large mineral pool, ideal for soaking after a day of skiing. Families can lounge in the children’s pool, while those seeking tranquility can retreat to the two “quiet pools.” The pool temperatures vary, as they are naturally fed by geothermal waters rich in minerals like magnesium, calcium, and sodium. These minerals are believed to offer various health benefits, including reducing inflammation, soothing skin conditions, and enhancing blood oxygen levels.

Astoria also offers a selection of alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages, along with light snacks, and guests are welcome to bring their own food and nonalcoholic drinks. Just keep in mind that Astoria Hot Springs is closed on Wednesdays.

Granite Hot Springs

Granite Hot Springs

For a more adventurous outing, Granite Hot Springs awaits. The pools were originally dug by Jackson’s early settlers for water collection and were later transformed into a more developed hot springs area by the Civilian Conservation Corps in 1935.

During the winter months, the roads are closed, making access possible only by snowmobile or dog sled. The Cloudveil partners with Teton Tour Company to offer guided half-day snowmobile trips to Granite Hot Springs. You can book through our concierge form or by emailing our Pathfinders team at pathfinders@thecloudveil.com in advance to reserve your tour.

Your adventure begins with a pickup at The Cloudveil, where you’ll be outfitted in warm snowmobile gear. Then, sit back and embark on a thrilling ride through the stunning winter landscape. Once you arrive at the springs, enjoy a peaceful soak for 20-30 minutes before changing into dry clothes for the return journey. The entire experience lasts around five hours, giving you ample time to unwind and take in the beauty of the surrounding Bridger-Teton National Forest.

Whether you choose the ease of Astoria Hot Springs or the adventure of Granite, your retreat in Jackson Hole will be sure to provide relaxation and incredible winter views.
