Altamira Fine Art
Begin your art walk at Altamira Fine Art Gallery just down the road from The Cloudveil. The gallery specializes in contemporary Western art showcasing collections of oil and acrylic paintings, bronze sculptures and innovative light works.
In collaboration with the Jackson Hole Fall Arts Festival, Altamira is highlighting the festival’s featured artist, Ben Steele. His painting, “Old West Colors” is currently on display in The Cloudveil lobby before returning to the gallery until the festival in September where it will be auctioned.
Astoria Fine Art
Then, make your way over to Astoria Fine Art where they highlight contemporary and historical works that celebrate the beauty of the West. Astoria Fine Art features a collection of paintings, and sculptures, many inspired by the region’s landscapes and wildlife.
You may even recognize a few bronze animal sculptures throughout The Cloudveil lobby, including Brent Lawrence’s stainless steel “Elk Triptych” adorning one of our hallways.
Amy Ringholz Studios
Continue your walk down Broadway to Amy Ringholz Studios. She is known for her vibrant, and expressive animal portraitures, becoming one of Jackson’s most recognizable contemporary wildlife artists. Amy’s playfulness and sophisticated approach to her animal interpretations captures the spirit of the region in a modern way.
Visitors may also spot her work at The Cloudveil from time to time, and one of her pieces is part of the permanent collection at the National Museum of Wildlife Art.
National Museum of Wildlife Art
Complete your art journey with a short drive over to the National Museum of Wildlife Art. Built into a hillside overlooking the National Elk Refuge, the National Museum of Wildlife Art holds more than 5,000 artworks representing wild animals from around the world.
Start by exploring the museum’s sculpture trail where 20 wildlife sculptures are thoughtfully placed along the sage brush showcasing “An Art in the wild” experience. Inside, you can explore their permanent collection featuring works of over 550 artists that interpret local wildlife and artwork from around the world.

Every September, Jackson, Wyoming, undergoes a dual transformation: the aspens along the Tetons blaze into brilliant golds, and the vibrant downtown evolves into the Jackson Hole Fall Arts Festival.
