The longest, continuously running gunfight in the United States, it is estimated that more than 4 million people have witnessed the iconic Jackson Hole Shootout through the years.
The Shootout takes place Monday-Saturday (no shootin’ on Sundays!) at 6:00pm on Town Square from Memorial Day through Labor Day. The event is open and free to the public and no reservations are necessary. Spectators begin gathering on the northeast corner of Jackson’s Town Square beginning at about 5:30pm and enjoy treats and refreshments available at businesses around the Square.
